MY STORY

My name is Ashley! If you’re wondering why I’m biting into something delicious in every photo on here… it’s because I’m a full time foodie. I’m also a dog mama to Deacon and Gavin & wife to Ty… we are expecting our first baby in August, so by the time you’re reading this - I may too identify as human mama! Such a blessing this life has been so far. I love fashion, home decor and creativity with makeup… my greatest accomplishment in life though? Helping other women.

It all goes back to when I started my OWN health journey back in 2015 when I was a 21 year old. I was a first grade, first year teacher going to grad school to become a reading specialist. In 2014, I started the year as a college senior and finished the year as a teacher, grad student, living in a new state, in a new relationship and my plate became very full VERY QUICK. I bet you can guess what happened next… I lost me in the midst of the busy. Teaching and grad school were taking the front seat to everything in my life, I didn’t recognize myself… I despised the reflection in the mirror. I needed change and I needed it quick. But after failing for the majority of my entire life at “weight loss,” I knew that it wasn’t going to be easy & I couldn’t do the things that didn’t work in the past, I needed something new.

First thing I did in January of that year was find a gym half way from work and home (I had an hour long commute to my school each way) and I signed up. I paid $25 a month for a membership I had no idea what to do with… so, naturally I turtled inside my comfort zone and I went and used the only equipment I knew how, the treadmill. For 3 weeks straight I would run 3 miles every single morning, until I just stopped. Waking up at 4am to drive 30 minutes to a gym to be there and do something I did not enjoy was. not. realistic. SO I gave up. I was so focused on the OUTCOME that I didn’t ever allow myself to fall in love with the PROCESS. & my excuses became louder than my excitement for change.

4 days after the last time I visited that gym, a Wednesday night in February, I saw one of my childhood friends post a before and after photo on instagram; it was not this INCREDIBLE life change… it was 21 days of hard work, but she said something in that post that I needed to hear - she was “PROUD” of herself. (something I have never been when it came to my health) In that moment, as a busy teacher who was burnt out of a gym commute and lack of knowledge, I ASKED FOR HELP.

That help?! Landed me here. I fell in love with daily 30 minute workouts I could do right from home and a realistic nutrition plan that helped me build knowledge around foods that my body needed to perform and sustainable results! SO MUCH THAT I said yes to helping other women do the same. 8 years later. One life at a time. I have helped thousands of women recover from their health burn out and find something that sticks. Not to mention, dress their bodies that they are falling in love with!

My mission is help people live healthy and fulfilling lives fueled by JOY… by simply just showing up on my own journey day in and day out, being that guide!
